Steven Le'Bone Hill known as Bonesthemachine has been on international stages for over a decade. Born in Brooklyn, ENY, Bones is a Music Artist, Sculptor, Movement Artist, and Creative Genius. As a child, Bones noticed his gifts as an artist. Bones enjoyed drawing his teachers in elementary school. Although he did not do all his work, he passed all his classes. He loved playing video games at home. His favorite game was Zelda and Sonic the Hedgehog. He also loved the thrill of Resident Evil not just for the scary scenes, but he loved all the games mostly for its visuals and problem solving techniques. If its anything complicated, Bones love trying to figure it out. Bones enjoyed cutting up clothes to re-design them, and playing with clay was something he would choose over playing with toys.
Bones' first huge accomplishment was a prize and newspaper article for winning a drawing contest. Bones saw art in everything he laid his eyes on. In 2002, Bones joined "The Next Level Squad" (NLS) after watching Flex N Brooklyn on t.v. The show ran on a local channel called BCAT. This small group of talented kids became popular in the neighborhood for their dancing talent. Bones and DJ Aaron became the originators of bonebreaking choreography and Bones was well known for his ability to Bone Break and incorporate it into his machine like movements. Since then Bones and his group won many dance shows. Other than his talent as a dancer, Bones designed clothes at that time for dance groups using fabic paint and glitter. He had everyone in Brooklyn seeking his designs.
In 2009, Bones and his partner Aaron lead their group as Bones won "King of the Streets," a dance competition where he battled dancers and defeated other competitors for money and a trip to Paris. Bones made his mark internationally and when he came back to the U.S., he became an online sensation! He began performing in YouTube videos working with Yak Films. His first huge dance job was a McDonald's commercial with the great director "X." He was booked by Herman Flores and Dave from "World of Dance." Since then, Bones has tapped into the world of art forms, such as dance, art, and fashion. Bones has touched stages with Missy Elliott (VMA'S), Madonna, Kendall Jenner, Pusha T, Skrillex, and many more. Bones' music is what brings his brand together from his sculptures to his extreme music video visuals and set design. Bones brings an inimitable aesthetic and creative force to everything he does.
